Submission Process

Authors intending to submit an article to this Journal may wish to submit an abstract first, although this is not a requirement. The main purpose of submitting an abstract first is to enable contributors to gain confirmation that their intended article is consistent with APJBM’s focus / field of interest of readers and authors (please visit the following website: http://www.uunz.ac.nz/jq.aspx?location=JournalEditorialSubmissions).

When submitting an article to the Journal contributors should make it clear whether they are submitting a research paper, a scholarly article, or a discussion paper.  The review and approval process is outlined in the diagram in the  'Manuscript review process’ (http://www.uunz.ac.nz/jq.aspx?location=JournalEditorialSubmissions)

Authors may retain copyright of their own materials. The Asia Pacific Journal of Business and Management, however, requests authors to provide written clearance that the manuscript submitted:

ü  May be used for educational purposes and for publication in the Asia Pacific Journal of Business and Management; and

ü  Has not been published or accepted for publication elsewhere* (e.g., in other journals, books).

ü  The Asia Pacific Journal of Business and Management will be willing to publish such manuscripts only when written permission to do so is provided by the publisher(s) concerned

All manuscripts must meet the requirements of the Style Guide for Authors (see website above). Submissions should be sent by email and be in MS Word format to:

ü  Dave Hodges, Editor of the Asia Pacific Journal of Business and Management (APJBM) dave@uunz.ac.nz

Confirmation of receipt of submitted manuscripts will generally be given within 7 days.
